We are definitely conditioned by our society. . .

Remember back a couple of years ago when J L King's DL (down low) movement came about. It was the latest craze. Homosexuality was shunned, but it seemed that everyone flocked to the topic without any hesitation. It was on television stations. In churches. And just everyday convo. Guys thought, "well, I ain't gay if nobody knows or if I do not act effeminate."

Recently, I have seen another sizzling subject that is making the headlines. Gay for Pay. This is basically guys who say they are not gay but they are compensated to appear in a gay porn...Its a gay porn. Straight people do not participate in gay porn...for any amount of money ( I guess everyone has a limit though)

Now, there is a new movement called g0y. G0ys are guys that seek intimacy from other guys and sexual attention that is restricted to oral sex only. They despise the effeminate and anal sex, and most are conservative Christians. In a sense, these are the hypocritical men who rally in the streets against homosexuality, but perform acts as only a homosexual would.

I said all of that to say this, at the end of the day, no matter how you dress it up; a man that has sex with another man is gay. The media has sensationalized gay people as the stereotypical, flamboyant queen that only depicts a small percentage of the gay community. Gay people are diverse, talented, genuine, loving, kind, mean, rude, pleasant, distinguished and much more than that 2-dimensional characters in the media. We are are human with emotions, dream, and aspirations.
